Mettwurscht Muffins

Savoury muffins are the perfect picnic treat, and the best thing is that you can throw anything you have lingering in the fridge into them. For this recipe I have used a Luxembourg cheese called Berdorfer Roude Bouf, a lovely hard cheese with a mature taste. I have also added Mettwurscht, a very popular smoked sausage that you are bound to find on the barbeque at any Luxembourg village fête.
