Ah, there’s nothing better than this glorious steak taco: juicy grilled steak, fresh salad and a spicy, garlicky chimichurri sauce. Chimichurri is an Argentinian salsa that’s typically green from all the herbs, spring onions and green chili that go in it. The sauce is traditionally served alongside grilled meats in Argentina, so it’s perfect for these lovely steak tacos.
I developed this recipe for Cactus News Magazine, as part of their Food Heroes project, in which they showcase local producers whose products you can buy at Cactus. This recipe is using steak from Luxembourgish farmer Yves Sand, who has a farm in Bettange-sur-Mess, where he rears cows. You can read more on his livestock farm and produce here.
